Dancing Like An Idiot For The Good Of Humankind

Lots has happened since last I updated and I suspect that any chum who is still loitering around these here deserted waters has probably heard all about it anyway. 

Today. Today is BORING. That's my stance on it and that's how it's going to remain. I've spent a lot of today rekindling my Ellen obsession on You Tube, which is always a good obsession because it makes me want to write stuff. Unfortunately I don't have the wherewithall (spelling? I don't know. Looks like it sounds in my head so it'll do) to actually put fingers to keyboard to write anything productive and have a similar problem with pad and pencil. So I'm thinking stuff up in my head amusing myself and eventually I'll forget all about this little phase of daydreaming about being funny and go back to hating my job with all my soul. 

I have five (FIVE!!!) disposable cameras to get developed. And I have no idea what's on any of them. I think one must be my Birthday/Draco's Birthday, and one I'm convinced is Disneyland from April because we definately had our picture taken with Mickey yet we have no photographic proof of this as yet... 

I'm rereading Deathly Hallows. It really is a very good book. I'm enjoying it even more second time round. Don't feel so pressured into finishing! I was intending to stay in bed late today and read it for a good two hours, but my father for some reason doesn't like people still being in bed at 9am and made me get  up. Rotter. 

When I get my bonus I'm going to go to Disneyland again (Surprise surprise) and buy an annual pass that gets me in for free and discounts off stuff. I think I need it. Because me and Moony swore At The Very Gates Of Disneyland Itself  that we would go back there at least once a year.

Just wanted to say that I loved that book, and that I'm glad I finished it this weekend before some big gobbed loud mouth idiot who has somehow been given a job in my office lets the proverbial hippogriff out of the bag. 


Also... I didn't have to go to Derby because of the floods! So the floods have done one good thing at least. 

This guy is jet skiing along the slad road in Stroud, which is right down the bottom of Joy's road... eeeek!!!

Going to see hairspray tomorrow so that I can drool at Mr Efron and generally bounce in my seat! 

Have started Potter again from the beginning which is very wierd... I forget they were so little... Oh and Mr Drake. Once you have read book 7, I am very much looking forward to some seventh year notes.... 

My internet is being totally rubbish at the moment, keeps saying there's no signal, and I keep waving my 'wireless' usb WIRE around trying to find a better signal.... It's highly irksome...

I got given a grand's payrise at work last month. Yay me. But today is payday and I've been paid a pound less than last month... 

Dammit. Now I've got to go and talk to people and sort it out and pffft. 

Why is nothing ever EASY!

In a similar vein, got my iPod back from repair on Saturday and they'd given me a new one which is all nice and shiny and all, but isn't engraved, so now I have to send it off again to get it done again. GRRRRR!

The world is out to annoy me today...

Today completely totally sucks.

Work is turning my head into scrambled beans. Yes I said scrambled beans. This query is just making every single part of me HURT.

In other news, the Doctor Who exhibition rocks the socks off other pretenders to the exhibitions crown. If indeed there is a crown.

I seem to be the only one of The Reprobates (TM Louise 'Blueberry' Wheeler) who is in a fairly chipper place at the moment, and therefore and henceforth and other fancy pants words with hence and fore and there and forth in  them, I take it upon myself to cheer you all up. 

I can't help with the big stuff that people are working out on their own. The whole life thing is kind of difficult to help with, only you know what's right for you. Doesn't really matter what Ernie has to say on the matter. 

So I'm settling for making you guys laugh a little.

So I had my first of two maths exams yesterday. My first exam for 9 years, and shit was it terrifying. How did we do it? Firstly how the hell did we revise for more than one subject? I don't have time to revise for one. Which probably explains why I have pretty bad grades in the old GCSE's. Anyway, because I'm an evening class person I have no idea where the fucking gym is that I'm supposed to go and have this exam in. So I ask the only person I can see at reception, who is COMPLETELY unhelpful and just says do you know where the fag pit is. I say no. She looks at me blankly and says nothing for at least twenty seconds, which doesn't seem like long now, but is quite a lengthy period to stand in an awkward silence for. I crack first. I say I'm an evening student and I don't smoke. She then proceeds to tell me long complicated route involving swing doors, left turns, a few labyrinths, the hellmouth and a coffee machine and I nod politely and wander off looking for someone familiar in a rather panicky state of mind. Finally latch on to someone I recognise from the class but don't know the name of and eventually stumble across the gym. The exam itself was a doddle compared to actually finding the bloody place. I think it went pretty well you know. The more I think about it the more confident I am. But that's probably a bad thing, so all keep your fingers crossed anyway. I've got another one on monday and that's got Sohcahtoa in it. And that's a stupid made up maths word that doesn't really make any sense on way or the other and sounds like somewhere the Americans bombed in WW2.

It's Bude in Cornwall, and it's costing £31 per person per night and you are all invited should you wish to sample the excellent sea breezes, ice creams and comedy value of me saying "Dude... where's Bude..." continually.

Choo choo pa pa choo choo pa pa! Three months on Thursday we'll be back there again. Cos we're sad and stuff. But in a very good very not sad kind of way. Sort of. Yes. Makes sense to me. Good. 

And July is going to rock the socks of June. Oh yes it is. Potter Month. Hurrah, huzzah and other noises of celebration that being with hu and end in ah. Like Huppah! 

I did my film rating. Apparently I'm a 15. I have no idea how... must be the vino I guess... But I'm more of a fluffy bunny U rating kind of gal I reckon. Although a 15 rating is sort of applicaple considering it's exactly how old I felt yesterday going into that exam...

Oh and I haven't updated since my birthday and I'm a bad person for that. I would like to thank all of you for a fucking great time, excellent pressies, excellent company, laughing till it hurts, GOLD, Wendlebury, pretending we're the famous five, pirate parties, power rangers, pizza and Zodiac.

So I suck at updating. But you all knew that. 

So much happened in April, and as is the way, when I actually have things to do, I don't update about them. Suffice to say that Disneyland rocked the socks of any other holiday and I want to go back. Choo Choo Pa Pa Choo Choo Pa Pa... ahhhh la petty tron... My french is appalling. As it should be.

It's my birthday tomorrow! I'm so childishly excited and I don't even care. *grins madly* We're going to Warwick Castle, to gawp at the pretty boys in medieval clothes and generally run about in the rain. We're having a picnic as well, which is going to be interesting... I have no idea what I'm getting for my birthday from anybody, which is great and as it should be. 

Work is poo. But am only here three days this week, so that's not too bad I guess. I would very much like to have some food as well. I need food. My stomach requires it to stop making embarrassing noises and generally feeling empty.

I just wrote a really long post. And then LJ failed in it's autosaved draft feature and I lost it all.

I have nothing to do. Nothing. I am BORED. I'm playing the sims on my mobile. And it's boring. And I'm bored. BORED. BORED. BORED. Do you get it? BORED!!!

*sighs*

I'm also broke. I have £11 left till Monday and then I have £60, £40 of which is being used to get to London on Wednesday. 

BUT! That means I'm going to disneyland a week today!!!! Huzzah and hurrah and other noises of jollification and stuff. 

I'm really terribly excited, it's the first time I've ever been on holiday without parental supervision!

Oh GOD this is boring. I'm even boring myself with this boring post. I need to find something to do. I've only been here an hour and a quarter...
